In addition to the most appropriate mix designs for your usage and specifications, Black Gold Paving Solutions/Citywide Enterprises uses TruPave Petro-Mat, which is a pavement interlayer designed to create a moisture-resistant barrier, retard reflective cracking and stand up to high temperature hot-mix designs. Petro-Mat works to preserve the pavement surface and protect the pavement structure longer, which means less maintenance and lower long term cost – i.e., better value. We also use Petro-Tac, which is similar to Petro-Mat but only applied to cracks in strips, thus helping to bond the existing crack together and prevent reflective cracking in the overlay process.
